Listening

• Listening 1: Holidays

• This listening revises questions about holidays. The questions are not about the conversation but about grammar. Some of them are difficult. However, you can use it to practise questions, pronunciation and intonation. Listen and repeat (and if you are in the mood, record your voice).

B1: Past simple and past continuous

If you want to learn more, try this site. The exercises are fairly difficult.

Choose the correct pronunciation of past simple regular verbs.

Halloween

Do you know how Holloween is celebrated in the UK? Just watch these videos. You can subtitle them if you find them difficult.






You can find some listening and vocabulary activities about Halloween here. Task 2 is usually very demanding, so use a pen and paper to answer it.
