B1-1. Activities related to "WORK"

Since we must stay at home, let's do our best to make good use of our time.
This is my first post this week.

I am sure you all have good apps to improve your English or sites you like. Why don't we share them? You can add your favourites to this padlet. I've just added a couple myself.

And these are some links with varied activities. I hope you like them.
Jobs and their pronunciation.
This site provides exercises to revise vocabulary related to work and jobs though some of them need Java to work (some browsers don't support Java)
Reading comprehension: Applying for a job
Listening: Work-life balance. Do the preparation task first. Then listen to the audio and do the exercises. DON'T read the tapescript until you finish the listening tasks.
Pronunciation of "sh"
Pronunciation of "have to". You can listen and read the script at the same time.

And to end today, type at least two words you have learnt in unit 5. Don't worry if they are already in the "answergarden"

B1-9 Semipr. Present simple vs continuous. Describing people

Here you are a presentation for you to revise vocabulary and use it. How would you answer the questions in the last two slides? If you want, you can record a short monologue and email it to me.

For those who don't remember much about the present simple and continuous, you can watch this presentation. I hope it helps.
